Who taught me about snow?
Has there been a mother in my life?
Taken notice, I probably have done before, of the prints in the snow.
The prints are from paws and birds' toes.
World, the world is full of prints.
And all the prints are empty holes in the snow.
Left somewhere, I must have done, the book about who I am and where I am going.
Me is the only one I see, and the only thing following me are my naked feet in the snow.

Vem lärde mig om snö?
Har jag haft en mamma en gång?
Tagit notis om spåren i snön har jag gjort förut, jag känner igen tass och fågeltå.
Världen är full av spår, jag ser det nu.
Och jag ser att alla spår är tomma hål i snön.
Lämnat nånstans, det måste jag har gjort, boken om vem jag är och vart jag är på väg.
Mig är den enda jag ser, och det enda som följer mig är mina nakna fötter i snön.
