Poetry writing prompt

1.Visit an exclusive antique and vintage shop that is called "the dump".
There you will find a broken calfskin drum.

2. On the inside of the drum, write the words that hurt.

3. Play a beat that is rythmic, but not.

4. See the calf come to life.

5. The calf bows its head to the grass and eats, do the same.

6. Read the lines that the calf's snout and your face has drawn on the ground.
That is the metre of your poem.

7. Follow the calf until your feet feel like hooves on the meadow.
Notice the wind against your skin that has once been a drum.

8. Write down your experience.
The writing should be longer than a life and shorter than a sigh.

9. When dusk comes, go home to the one you miss.
He has emptied the disk washer and cooked a vegan meal.

10. He asks about your writing day and smiles.
Your poem is the wrinkles around his eyes.
