Sinbad and his cousin
Sea is salt, adventures are sweet
That's what Sinbad the Sailour thought
While his not so famous cousin Samir
found security a lot sweeter
Hence, he moved to Sweden
Sinbad landed on a gigantic whale
while Samir engaged in retail
About his little food store
was no grand story ever told
They only thing written was his ads
with special offer on cotton pads
Sinbad couldn't wait to see another sea
he sailed wildly on the wide wide blue
whereas Samir grew deep deep roots
When Sinbad met a gemstone-spitting squid
Samir and his wife got their first kid
They would never return to Bagdad again
The name they gave their son was Sven
While cousin Sinbad sailed the stormy sea
Samir stayed in his store, sorting receipts
Sinbad crashed into the cliffs with his ship
when Samir paitently waited for citizenship
Worries faded when two Astrid smiled
His oldest customer and his second child
Sinbad conquered all dangers, the sea he ruled
Samir was conquered by the new Swedish rules
"Thoughtful repatriation" said leaders on screen
and shouted "Send 'em out!" when cameras didn't see
Samir, 20 years a Swede, and his family had to leave
