To my friend
There must be more to life
or perhaps there is not
probably not for me I thought
Always remember our texts and talks
I wrote a poem that was not very good
you compared it to a particular song
and my poem found residence
You sent me a verse, a really old one
it was short, only three breaths
and you spent a day explaining it
until my curiosity found residence
There must be more to life
and then I knew what
I was a soul without a home
until I found residence
Thank you my friend
that is now an acquaintance
or perhaps there is not
probably not for me I thought
Always remember our texts and talks
I wrote a poem that was not very good
you compared it to a particular song
and my poem found residence
You sent me a verse, a really old one
it was short, only three breaths
and you spent a day explaining it
until my curiosity found residence
There must be more to life
and then I knew what
I was a soul without a home
until I found residence
Thank you my friend
that is now an acquaintance
