Some bird

Trees shrink during day
and fatten at night
Never will I know
about the tufted duck
I saw no tuft
But there were oaks
in their smallest hour
I wore regular clothes
and thought of a past
that had not occurred
Birds decrease in feathers
starting at early spring
It snows in Sweden now
weather is a lot like me
and even worse after
seen on social media
The alternative youth
playing in my head
contains a person liked
by nobody but one
Like if dreams must be
a realistic compromise
Poor duck do not start
dropping feathers yet
The one I dream about
is pretty much the same
person I have in my life
but when I needed him
Perhaps the tufted duck
was in fact an eider
An interim visitor
in a town of storage
