Today

this day is called today
and so we named yesterday
and tomorrow, the same way
we're always stuck in today
a calender orders every day
in a two dimensional array
but in my mind, the days lay
like fallen leaves, all astray
some have withered away
but they all existed, every day
and they all were called today
did I enjoy all of them? no way!
but could I please, if I may
have them all back anyway
